itaas to support Cox’s tru2way apps

itaas, with its istart Developer Program, will provide support for applications developed for Cox’s tru2way and ETV rollout, which is slated for this summer.

The program provides support services for application developers that wish to create, launch and test interactive applications for Cox cable systems nationwide, including EBIF apps using the Aptiv guide on both Motorola and Cisco STBs. Future support for applications on the tru2way platform using Cox’s IPG is planned, as well.

Developers who join the istart Cox video services platform support program will gain access to development tools, documentation, software upgrades and support for the Cox platform. Additionally, companies can engage itaas for assistance in architecture, design, development, and testing of new applications.

With the addition of the Cox video services platform, the istart Developer Program offers eight programs, including SDKs and support for Time Warner Cable's MDN, ODN and MAS software, Cisco’s Sara/PowerTV and OCAP Axiom, and the Biap and TVWorks’ ETV platform.
