The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers [1] (SCTE) has announced the candidates vying for one of the seven seats on a 17-member board that are up for election in 2007.

SCTE members will begin casting their ballots in January. Election results will be announced by April 15.

Newly-elected directors will take office to begin their two-year terms on June 19 at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2007, set for June 19-22 in Orlando, Fla.
