CTAM honors Ellis and Leddy
The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) will honor one current and one former Time Warner Cable exec at the organization's annual summit next week in Boston.
Chuck Ellis, the former chief marketing officer for the MSO who served seven years on the CTAM board, will receive the organization's "One of a Kind Award." The award, created in the memory of the late Roy Mehlman, is awarded periodically by former CTAM board members. Ellis is also being recognized for his contributions to the NCTA-CTAM On-Time Guarantee initiative and for co-chairing SkiTAM, an annual fundraiser that benefits the U.S. Disabled Ski Team.
The CTAM Chairman's Award is going to Kevin Leddy, the senior vice president of strategy and development for Time Warner Cable. Leddy's selection was made by CTAM Chairman and Comcast EVP of Operations Dave Watson.
In addition to providing leadership, "his most important contribution is forging a productive partnership between the marketers and technologists," Watson said of Leddy, who was one of three Time Warner Cable execs named "Men of the Year" by CED in 2004.
