'06 Cable-Tec Expo sells out

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers [1] (SCTE) said it has sold out the exhibit floor for the 2006 Cable-Tec Expo, set to run June 20-23 in Denver.

SCTE also noted that it has closed all sponsorship opportunities for the confab, which will take place at the Colorado Convention Center.

The floor of this year's show will be 5,300 square feet bigger than last year's in San Antonio. Overall, the show will absorb 135,000 square feet, 4 percent greater than last year, and be home to 404 exhibitors. SCTE said 73 exhibitors will be first-timers at Expo.

The 2006 show expects to welcome about 10,000 attendees.
