• SaskTel dials up JDSU VoIP testing platform
JDSU  said it scored a deal to supply Saskatchewan Telecommunications  (SaskTel) of Canada with its "NetComplete" VoIP test and performance management service assurance platform.
SaskTel plans to launch VoIP in the "next several months," and to use the JDSU system to handle service monitoring, rapid fault isolation and tier-two troubleshooting.
NetComplete combines active testing and passive monitoring of VoIP equipment, JDSU said.
