AM picks up Nex-Link

Calling it a step toward diversification and overall growth, AM Communications Inc. said its wholly-owned subsidiary, AM Broadband Services Inc., has completed its acquisition of start-up Nex-Link Communications, a provider of cable engineering, construction and fulfillment services.

Nex-Link recorded revenues of roughly $3 million for the six-month period ended June 30, and company co-founders Steve Nickel and Scott Lochhead have joined the AM team.
