PhatPipe and BreezeCOM fatten up
PhatPipe, a broadband tech company focusing on industrial real estate customers, has deep pockets. The company has promised BreezeCOM it will buy $5 million in BreezeCOM wireless infrastructure equipment, products and services.
The two companies will focus on tailoring tech solutions that were previously too pricey or unavailable for PhatPipe's industrial tenants.
BreezeCOM's wireless technology is a component of PhatPipe's EverOn Access product. The combination of BreezeCOM's equipment with DSL technology lets PhatPipe deliver high-speed broadband voice and data services to industrial buildings and business parks.
"Wireless technology provides a high-speed alternative for reaching areas underserved by traditional wired services," BreezeCOM president, Bernard Herscovich, said in a statement. "By focusing on industrial centers and business parks, PhatPipe is able to capitalize on the quick and cost-effective benefits wireless deployment offers."
