WorldGate announces new ITV product

WorldGate unveiled in January product enhancements for its interactive television applications. The newest version of the WorldGate Interactive Service will be deployed during the first quarter of 2001, and includes two upgrades to WorldGate's overall product, along with an entirely new feature, making it a more dynamic service to users.

Telecommunications Reports International has reported high growth for both the DSL market and the online market as a whole. SCTE opens CCC

Com21 has signed a volume purchase agreement with Comcast Online Communications, a division of Comcast Cable Communications. Comcast's agreement to purchase additional quantities of DOXport 1110 cable modems follows a previous fourth quarter 2000 purchase of Com21's latest offering. WideOpenWest will use DemandVideo Corp.'s turnkey video-on-demand (VOD) solution to provide customers with immediate access to on-demand entertainment, under the terms of a recent agreement. WideOpenWest is building fiber optic broadband networks through several Western cities, offering residential customers competitive cable TV, VOD, high-speed Internet and low-cost telephone services.
