RCN Business is providing connectivity for live-streaming of all matches during the tournament, a service available to viewers via the Citi Open web site. RCN Business is also supporting the work of the tourney’s staff.

The international tournament, which is being held at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center, started Saturday and runs through Aug. 3.

“RCN Business has supported this event three years running by leveraging its extensive fiber-rich network to deliver advanced communications such as high-speed Internet, TV solutions and a hosted voice, “said Chris Fenger, chief operating officer, RCN. “This is an important event for the Washington community; RCN is committed to providing an outstanding experience for the organizers and fans alike, as we have been providing reliable communications to businesses of all sizes in the D.C. area for years.”

The Citi Open has been held in Washington, D.C. since 1969 under various names and formats. It initially started as a tournament on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) international circuit. In 2012, the event introduced a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tournament that is now played simultaneously with the ATP men’s events.
