CenturyLink extends agreement with Viamedia
CenturyLink has extended its agreement with Viamedia to include its three most recent IPTV markets: Phoenix; Omaha, Neb.; and Colorado Springs, Colo.
CenturyLink had been offering its Prism IPTV service, based on Ericsson’s MediaRoom technology, in seven markets – Columbia and Jefferson City, Mo; Ft. Myers, Orlando and Tallahassee, Fla.; La Crosse, Wis.; Las Vegas, and Raleigh, N.C. – via a mix of fiber to the node (FTTN) and fiber to the home (FTTH) access networks.
The carrier signed up with Viamedia for advertising services in 2011. The new agreement extends that original agreement to the three new markets.
“We are thrilled to expand our agreement with CenturyLink as its advertising sales representative,” said Mark Lieberman, president and CEO, Viamedia. “Together, we will open new doors with best-in-class advertising solutions and technologies for businesses in the important markets of Phoenix, Omaha and Colorado Springs. CenturyLink’s Prism TV service is one of the most advanced TV services in the world. Combined with Viamedia’s talented sales team and deep relationships with businesses of all sizes, we will help the companies realize the benefits of market-based advertising.”
