Suddenlink promotes Atkins
Suddenlink Communications has promoted Amy Atkins to the position of vice president of talent and organizational development.
In her new role, Atkins will direct the leadership training department at the cable operator’s headquarters in St. Louis.
Atkins moved to St. Louis from Lake Havasu City, Ariz., where she was director of customer care at one of Suddenlink’s call center sites. Atkins joined Suddenlink in 2006 and has a broad range of experience, including human resources, training management and operations. A 14-year cable industry veteran, she previously worked for Cox Communications.
Atkins has been a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) for 10 years. During that time, she completed WICT’s Rising Leaders program and, most recently, served as mentor chair as a member of the Arizona/New Mexico chapter’s board of directors.
