Buckeye, Trilithic enter product test pact
Trilithic and Buckeye CableSystem have entered a research and design collaboration to develop and commercialize new products used to improve service delivery and customer experience in the cable market.
Buckeye will gain access to the latest Trilithic products during the term of the strategic partnership and provide Trilithic with feedback on next-generation technologies introduced in alpha/beta product releases.
The companies said that Buckeye will call upon its customer base to provide direct feedback and customization of Trilithic products through voice-of-the-customer research and in-field testing.
Research and design initiatives will support collaborative management of Trilithic's product development process from concept to launch.
Terry Bush, CEO and co-founder of Trilithic, commented, "This is an important deal for each of our companies that supports our commitment to industry leadership and product innovation. We're excited to enter into this venture with our long-term strategic partners at Buckeye. Like us, they're committed to technological advancement, exceptional customer service and the opportunity to strengthen our positions in the market."
Jim Wolsiffer, director of technical operations at Buckeye CableSystem, said, "With the fast pace of technical change in our business, a company such as ours that is at the front edge in offering advanced services to our customers, a close relationship with a technical leader in our industry is paramount in specifying, developing, testing and implementing the devices required to support these services. With our ability to make decisions locally and have members of both teams able to interact directly we see the benefit of this strategic partnership quite clearly."
