Multichoice taps Clearleap for multi-screen management

MultiChoice in Africa has signed on to use Clearleap’s multiscreen video and digital asset management systems to support multiscreen delivery of its television content over both IP networks and traditional pay-TV networks.

MultiChoice is an African pay-TV provider that operates the DStv and GOtv services, two platforms in sub-Saharan Africa.

MultiChoice will use the Clearleap products to manage its library of premium live and on-demand video content, then distribute and monetize it across VOD, web portals, apps and more.

MultiChoice will also be able to take advantage of Clearleap’s flexible model, which will integrate with its existing infrastructure and will scale to allow for new multiscreen services as they are added.
