Charter Media to cut ribbon on new production facility in Wis.
On Thursday Charter Media will open the doors on its new production facility in Madison, Wis.
To mark the occasion, Charter will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Madison Chamber of Commerce. Charter Media is the sales division of Charter Communications.
Charter Media said the state-of-the-art studio and full-service production house featured large studio space, full high-definition capabilities, an extensive audio library with professional voiceover services and multiple design and digital file creation suites.
The facility is home to Charter Media Creative Services, a team of 17 employees that shoots video in house and on-site to create corporate, web and marketing videos. The team also develops TV commercials as well as custom productions to support its clients' internal communications needs.
Charter Media said its client base was diverse, with emphasis on businesses and not-for-profit groups of all sizes. Charter Media has studios in 26 cities across its footprint.
Travis Wichmann, senior manager of creative services for Charter Media, has seen Charter Media's presence expand in Madison and across the company's Great Lakes Region
"Charter Media has found great success working with businesses and organizations that don't employ their own in-house production teams or keep an advertising agency on retainer,” he said. “While our team has access to the best technology and resources for media production, we're also small enough to take on jobs of any size and budget. That business model has proven to be very successful and is helping us grow here in Madison and across the United States."
