Bright House Networks Enterprise Solutions is laying claim to being the first cable operator in the nation to achieve the CiscoMaster Service Provider Certification, which is under the auspices of the Cisco Cloud and Managed Service Program.

The certification, which was earned via a third-party audit process, gives Enterprise Solutions a stamp of approval to sell and deliver cloud and managed services to its business customers.

Additionally, the certification rewards partners for their expertise and investments for creating, selling and delivering cloud and managed services with financial incentives and go-to-market benefits in all of their service areas.

"We are pleased to add Cisco's Master Service Provider Certification to the industry-leading managed services we offer businesses," said Craig Cowden, senior vice president, network engineering, operations and enterprise solutions, Bright House Networks. "With Cisco Powered services, and Enterprise Solutions' extensive and secure IP core fiber network, our customers can focus on their core competencies while lowering operating costs and minimizing risk, giving them a powerful advantage over their competition."

The Cisco Master Service Provider Certification helps companies such as Enterprise Solutions build, market, and sell cloud and managed services with business acceleration tools and services, sales training and the Cisco Cloud Marketplace to address the varied needs of customers.

As a Cisco Master Service Provider Certified Partner, Enterprise Solutions can now sell and deliver four Cisco Powered Services with the following “Cisco Powered” services designations:  Cisco Powered Managed MPLS VPN; Cisco Powered Managed Metro Ethernet; Cisco Powered Managed Internet Service; Cisco Powered Managed IP Trunking.

All of the designated Cisco Powered Services were built on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
