Time Warner Cable and A&E have renewed their carriage agreements. With the new contract, which also covers Bright House Networks, the two MSOs will continue to air A&E, Lifetime, History, LMN, Bio, H2, History en Espanol, and several other A&E channels.

As is becoming more typical with distribution agreements, the contract includes rights for a variety of delivery methods, including common linear delivery, along with multi-screen rights both inside and outside of subscribers’ homes, as well as rights for on-demand viewing of previously aired content.

Multi-platform delivery is included for the following channels. A&E, Lifetime, History, LMN, Bio, H2, History en Espanol, Crime & Investigation Network, Military History and Lifetime Real Women.

TWC and Bright House will deliver video through A&E apps such as History, A+E and Lifetime for multi-screen / TV Everywhere delivery.

Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Time Warner Cable’s senior vice president of content acquisition Jennifer Chun said, “"We’re pleased to extend our relationship with A+E Networks. We’ve enjoyed a strong partnership with A&E for many years, and their programming is valuable to our customers.  Now they will be able to enjoy even more of this content on multiple platforms.”
