Time Warner Cable recently announced that Mark FitzPatrick had been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer of residential services.

FitzPatrick, who now reports to executive vice president and chief financial officer Artie Minson, now oversees all areas of finance for the company’s residential, media and video operations.

In his new role, FitzPatrick will work with Bill Goetz, chief operating officer (COO) of residential services; Joan Gillman, COO of media services; and Melinda Witmer, chief video and content officer.

“Mark is an accomplished leader with an intimate understanding of the drivers of our business. He will hit the ground running and have an immediate impact in this critically important role,” said Minson.

FitzPatrick most recently served as senior vice president of finance responsible for financial planning and analysis, as well as overseeing capital planning and forecasting for Time Warner Cable. In addition, FitzPatrick provided finance support for various internal departments including media, video, technology and network operations, investor relations, strategy, new business development and human resources.

Prior to joining Time Warner Cable in 2006, FitzPatrick served as vice president of corporate development at AOL, where he was responsible for coordinating AOL’s worldwide mergers and acquisitions activity. Before joining AOL in 2003 FitzPatrick was a vice president in Citigroup’s Investment banking division (previously, Salomon Smith Barney).
