Charter hires TWC’s Dudley, promotes Dykhouse
Charter Communications has beefed up its senior leadership team at company headquarters in Stamford, Conn. Time Warner Cable executive Alex Dudley will join Charter Communications in the newly created position of senior vice president, communications while Richard Dykhouse was promoted to executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Dudley, who will move to Charter on March 18, is currently group vice president, public relations at Time Warner Cable. At Time Warner Cable, Dudley is responsible for the company's interaction with national and trade media, and overall public relations strategy. He joined TWC in 2007. Prior to his cable industry experience, Dudley was a senior Vice president at Dan Klores Communications in New York, working on a diverse array of crisis and corporate accounts that included large media and telecommunications companies. He began his career in New York State government, holding a series of communications positions in the Pataki administration.

Dykhouse served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Charter since 2011. He joined Charter in 2006, serving as vice president, associate general counsel and assistant secretary, and became corporate secretary in 2009.
