Mediacom Communications said it has hammered out agreements with several of its content partners.

The agreements fall into three categories. One set secures wider distribution rights, expanding the amount of programming Mediacom can make available through its TV Everywhere service. Another set of agreements expands the amount of Spanish-language content the MSO can offer, and a third set consisted of retransmission consent renewals.

Mediacom said it entered global deals with NBCUniversal and Turner Broadcasting Systems and expanded agreements with Big Ten Network’s BTN2Go and Fox Broadcasting’s, adding “significant TV Everywhere content rights.”

Whether in their homes or on the go, Mediacom customers will benefit from having greater access to their favorite TV shows, movies, sports and more on devices ranging from traditional televisions and home computers to smartphones and tablets, the company said.

Through new partnerships with companies including Azteca International, Multimedios, Olympusat and others, Mediacom said it is now able to offer significantly more Spanish-language programming than ever before. New entertainment options for the Hispanic community will include a robust 27-channel Spanish-language tier known as Mediacom Canales Latinos.

Mediacom also renewed its agreements with Capital, Citadel, Coronet, Local TV, Media General, Quincy and Sinclair Broadcast Group covering retransmission consent rights for stations carried on the company’s cable systems.
