Comcast promotes Spaulding to AVP of Mile High Region
Comcast recently announced that Mike Spaulding was promoted to area vice president of the Mile High Region Northern Colorado Area.
As area vice president, Spaulding will oversee a team of more than 500 employees who serve the northern Colorado and mountain territory, which stretches from north metro Denver to Fort Collins and Greeley, as well as west along the I-70 mountain corridor.
“Since Mike joined Comcast in 2006, he has shown a strong track record in making operational improvements, a passion for delivering the best possible customer experience, and a strong belief in employee recognition and development,” said Comcast regional vice president Rich Jennings. “In his new role, I am confident Mike will help the team continue to deliver top service and results.”
Spaulding started with Comcast as technical operations manager for the Mountain Region, which includes Utah and Arizona. In this role, he oversaw installation, service and plant maintenance. Most recently, Spaulding was the senior director of technical operations and engineering for the Mountain Region, where he implemented operational plans to reduce trouble calls and improve system reliability.
Spaulding graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, where he received a bachelor’s of business administration in general management. He has completed many executive education courses, including the Comcast executive leadership training programs.
