Fujimoto joins TWC as SVP of brand strategy, marketing for residential
Time Warner Cable announced this morning that Gregg Fujimoto has joined the company as its senior vice president of brand strategy and marketing communications for residential services.
In his new job, Time Warner Cable said Fujimoto would help define and create advertising and messaging, visual identity, and promotions and events – as well as lead general market and multicultural communications and media planning and buying – for all of the company’s residential business. He will also guide cross-channel planning and placement.
Fujimoto reports to Time Warner Cable’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Jeffrey Hirsch, who took over those roles last year.
“With his deep experience and keen focus on driving innovative solutions and tangible results, I believe Gregg is the right person to help me lead the marketing function at Time Warner Cable,” Hirsch said. “I look forward to working with him to build on the work we began since I became the company’s chief marketing officer last year. I am proud of what our team has been able to accomplish in a relatively short period of time and, further, I believe great things are ahead for us.”
Fujimoto spent more than 20 years with McCann-Erickson before assuming executive roles with smaller agencies during the past three years. He has worked with many notable clients over the years, including Dell, Chrysler, Intel, Charter Communications, AT&T and Major League Baseball.
