Time Warner Cable service focuses on moving subs
Time Warner Cable has set up a separate program in its customer service operation aimed at helping customers who move residences. The program is called My Move.
TWC said existing customers will be reconnected “in a timely and hassle-free fashion through priority installation by a dedicated move specialist.”
Customers need to complete the move and transfer request online or call a dedicated number for the service. TWC promises to call online registrants within 5 minutes.
Either way, a Time Warner Cable mover specialist will walk the customer through a setup or transfer their existing service to their new address. The company said customers using My Move will experience no interruption of service.
The MSO said the service is available not only to those keeping their TWC account, but also to customers moving to an area served by other cable operators through the CableMover website supported by most of the largest cable operators in the U.S.
TWC said it is also offering free installation of IntelligentHome, its home security and home management service, exclusively to moving customers.
