Time Warner Cable’s Gillman joins SeaWell Networks’ board

Time Warner Cable's Joan GillmanAdvanced advertising vendor SeaWell Networks announced this morning that Time Warner Cable executive Joan Gillman has joined its board of directors as an independent member.

Gillman is executive vice president of Time Warner Cable and president of Time Warner Cable Media. Gillman is responsible for the ad sales force at Time Warner Cable and leads the cable operator’s efforts to deliver advanced advertising, data and interactive solutions for advertisers and network partners.

"I am delighted to be joining SeaWell's board of directors. They are positioned to provide innovative solutions for IP-delivered content and advanced advertising," commented Gillman. "I look forward to being a part of the continued success of the company."

Gillman joined Time Warner in 2005 as vice president of interactive TV and advanced advertising. She also served as vice president of marketing for an Internet service provider for the healthcare industry, Physicians' Online, from 1995-97. She has led business development, regulatory and legal teams for British Interactive Broadcasting, and in 2001, she served as president of Static2358, the interactive TV, games and production subsidiary of OpenTV.

Gillman serves professionally on the boards of NCC, BlackArrow, CAB, WICT and IAB and is a member of CTAM.
