Scott WeberStarting on Monday, Scott Weber will clock in at Charter Communications as the executive vice president of network operations, which makes him the fourth executive that has left Cablevision in favor of Charter.

Weber will work out of Charter’s Denver-based office, which is where most of the company’s engineering and programming teams are located. In his new position, Weber will be responsible for all network operations across the Charter footprint.

Weber will join CEO Tom Rutledge, chief marketing officer Jonathan Hargis and chief operating officer John Bickham at Charter after previously working with them at Cablevision.

"I have worked with Scott before and have great confidence in his ability to help Charter achieve its full potential and deliver an exceptional experience to our customers," Bickham said. "His experience and leadership will be a great complement to the Charter team."

Weber most recently served as Cablevision’s executive vice president of engineering network management. Prior to joining Cablevision in 2007, he was with Comcast for two decades, leading technical operations, engineering operations and network management in various roles throughout his time there.

He is a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and American Radio Relay League (ARRL).

Earlier this month, St. Louis-based Charter said in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing that some of its senior executives would be based out of a new office in the New York metro area.
