Videotron hires Delisle as vice president of IT

Serge DelisleSerge Delisle has joined Videotron as the Canadian cable operator’s vice president of information technology.

Delisle has 25 years of international experience in the management of major IT projects. In his new job, he will be responsible for a team of more than 500 employees working on IT development, implementation and support. Among other duties, Videotron said he would work on improving the company’s operational efficiency, together with other sectors of the organization.

“The management team and I are thrilled to have Serge on board,” said Videotron CEO and President Robert Dépatie. “He is a seasoned, results-oriented manager whose extensive experience will be a valuable asset to the organization. I am confident that his technologically focused vision will help Videotron maintain its vanguard position as a telecommunications industry leader.”

Prior to joining Videotron, he worked at Keops Technologies, Hercules and Nakornthai Strip Mill (NSM) in Asia, as well as CGI.
