New York state of mind: Some Charter execs will move to NYC office
In a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing Monday afternoon, Charter said it would open the doors on a new office in the New York metro area that will house some of its senior executives.
While Charter didn’t say which execs will use the new building, it would seem to be a safe bet that CEO Tom Rutledge, chief financial officer Jonathan Hargis and chief operating officer John Bickham would move into the new space since they are all former Cablevision executives with homes in the area.
Charter will keep most of the functions currently performed in its St. Louis office in that location, although some direct reports and staff of the executives relocating will also be asked to move to the New York office when it opens later this year.
Charter doesn’t plan on making any changes to its Denver-based office, where most of its engineering and programming teams are located.
