Voyager Mobile today introduced itself as the latest prepaid carrier to enter the market.

According to a countdown clock at the company's website, the company will go live with its initial offerings in limited markets tomorrow.

John Mardini, president of Voyager Mobile, said the company will initially offer two plans. The first, America Lite, will offer unlimited talk and text for $19 per month. The second will offer unlimited talk, text and data for $39 per month.

Mardini said the company will offer "almost all" major Android and Windows Phone smartphones, including the Samsung Epic Touch 4G. The MVNO is using Sprint’s 3G and WiMAX networks.

"We're trying to get prices as low as we can," Mardini said, adding that all devices at Voyager will be available with no contract and no credit check.

The company has also introduced Voyager Rewards, a frequent talker program, which rewards users with points for talking on their phones. The points can then be redeemed for airline miles, gift cards, phone upgrades and monthly service.

Although Voyager Mobile says its wireless network has coverage nationwide, sales of wireless service are currently being launched in select states, with the remainder coming soon.

States where Voyager initially will offer service include: Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia.
