BT picks IneoQuest system for service quality

BT Wholesale will use IneoQuest’s Video Service Assurance solution to ensure the reliability and quality of its new TV Connect service.

British Telecom is deploying IneoQuest’s full end-to-end solution, the vendor said. BT Wholesale is deploying IneoQuest’s iVMS intelligent video management system, which gives a single view into the health status of video services, along with IneoQuest’s Expedus DVA, which validates quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) of video services before distributing nationwide throughout the network.

Phillip Radley, chief enterprise data architect at British Telecom, said: “The video analytics provided by IneoQuest allows us to get an in-depth view of our network and find areas where problems are likely to occur and fix them before they become an issue or visible by the subscriber. This proactive approach ensures the best possible customer experience for TV Connect clients.”
