SeaChange tabs Bornak as new chief financial officer
SeaChange International has hired Michael Bornak as its new chief financial officer. Bornak will start his new job on Monday, and he will also serve as treasurer, secretary, and senior vice president of finance and administration at SeaChange.
Bornak took over as CFO from Kevin Bisson, who left the company last Friday to accept a position at another publicly traded company.
Prior to joining SeaChange, Bornak served as chief financial officer and treasurer at Tollgrade. Bornak has also served as CFO for several companies in a variety of industries, including Solar Power Industries, MHF Logistical Solutions and Portec Rail Products, and he was a certified public accountant at Ernst & Young.
"We welcome Mike to SeaChange and believe his background is particularly suitable to help us accomplish our committed goals of enhancing shareholder value, driving operational efficiencies and delivering improved financial results," said SeaChange CEO Raghu Rau.
Rau took over as interim CEO when former SeaChange founder, chairman and CEO William Styslinger retired in December.
