In partnership with Industry Canada's Broadband Canada program, Videotron is offering its wireless Internet service in remote areas of Québec that were previously without data services.

Using its 4G mobile network, Videotron has expanded its reach into the following regions: Beauce-Lower St. Lawrence, Victoriaville-Drummondville, Montérégie-Eastern Townships, Laurentians-Mont-Laurier, Lac-Saint-Jean and the North Shore.

Videotron Wireless Internet supports speeds of 1.5 Mbps, with a download speed of 10 GB. The service costs $37.95 a month and comes with an outdoor antenna and modem/router priced together for $149.95, which includes professional installation by Videotron.
