Videotron's Manon BrouilletteA reorganization effort by Videotron has landed Manon Brouillette into the newly created position of president for consumer services.

Brouillette, who was formerly Videotron’s executive vice president of strategy and marketing, has played a key role at Videotron. She has spearheaded the company’s launches of its mobile service, its Web portal and its rollout of DOCSIS 3.0 data tiers.

For the past year, she has also been overseeing the development of digital services as chief digital officer of Quebecor Media Inc. (QMI). Videotron is a subsidiary of Quebecor Media.

With the creation of the office for consumer affairs, Videotron President and CEO Robert Depatie will now spend more of his time focusing on the company’s strategic priorities, vision and growth, according to the company.

"I am fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues who are as competent as they are dedicated," said Depatie. "They have a passion for excellence and success. We have the best team in Canada, and they will make sure we continue delivering the best customer experience available in the marketplace."

In order to increase efficiencies and improve its products, Videotron tweaked the structure of some of its corporate divisions. Myrianne Collin, formerly head of marketing and product development, has been appointed senior vice president of strategy and marketing. Collin joined Videotron in 2005 and will continue to report to Brouillette.

A new multi-disciplinary team responsible for product development for all portfolios has also been created. Marie Ginette Lepage, who becomes vice president of product development, will lead it. Marie Ginette Lepage joined Videotron in 2006 and coordinated the rollout of the company's mobile services.

Montreal-based Videotron serves more than 1.84 million customers for cable television, about 1.3 million for Internet access service, nearly 1.18 million for residential telephone service and 258,100 mobile subscribers.
