CommScope is ready to assist cable operators that are deploying technology to support their customers' ever-increasing demand for new and higher-bandwidth services.

CommScope's OneBase inSite ConnectUsing CommScope's LxS-16016 wideband edge QAM, operators can deploy technology that provides them with the flexibility to roll out all of their existing voice, video and data services, plus support higher-bandwidth and next-gen services over HFC networks, without the need for additional hardware and without service disruptions.

Deployments can include VOD, SDV, digital broadcast video, DOCSIS and IPTV. This mix of services can take place on the same physical redundant RF port, without the need for headend reconfiguration or service disruption.

The LxS-16016 offers up to 160 QAM channels on each of its 16 RF ports, totaling 2,560 QAMs in a small, fully redundant 4RU chassis.

Meanwhile, the company's BrightPath Optical Solution (BOS) is a complete, scalable, end-to-end FTTx solution that can be set across multiple fiber architectures. BOS deployments allow operators to cost-effectively deliver high-bandwidth services and to use all of their existing infrastructures.

And with CommScope's OneBase InSite Connect, operators can remotely monitor the security, environment and other vital parameters at a hub site using one solution. It remotely manages and monitors the subsystems at each hub site, enabling network operators to coordinate and manage the conditions at remote facilities across their networks.
