VOD platform developer Concurrent Computer Corp. announced fairly lackluster results for the most recent quarter, posting a net loss of $4.7 million, or 8 cents per share. Broadcom CEO resigns; company posts big loss

Chipmaker Broadcom Corp. said late Thursday that Dr. Henry Nicholas III has resigned as the company's president and CEO "to attend to serious family matters." News of his departure was matched by a fourth quarter net loss by the company of $1.75 billion, or $6.40 per share, after special charges. Most of the loss was attributable to goodwill impairment as was therefore non-cash related.
