Itaas now has a version of its VOD monitoring system for Motorola systems. The first iteration of the itaas Event Collection System (ECS) was designed for Cisco environments.

The new version of ECS includes an updated user interface (UI) platform and improved reporting capabilities.

ECS is designed to monitor operational performance of the VOD system components and capture detailed information on system behavior. Session analytics allow service providers to identify and resolve problems in near real time – whether it is a back office configuration issue, equipment failure or a bandwidth issue, the company said.

The system can also save time and money by identifying bottlenecks and improving efficiency in capacity planning.
