Comcast bows Chamber of Commerce referral program for small businesses
In an effort to provide small businesses with discounted prices on business-class data and phone tiers, Comcast has unveiled its Chamber and Trade Association Referral Program.
Comcast is partnering with Chambers of Commerce and select trade associations to offer their members discounts on select tiers of Comcast Business Class Internet and Comcast Business Class Voice products.
"We recognize the importance of small businesses in our local communities and remain dedicated to helping them increase productivity though our Business Class suite of products," said Terry Connell, senior vice president of Comcast Business Services. "We're pleased to have the opportunity to partner with the chambers and trade associations on this new program and provide their members with valuable savings on the cutting-edge technology that will ultimately improve their bottom line."
Specifically, customers who sign up through their Chamber of Commerce or trade association can receive a 16 percent discount on Comcast's Business Class Premium service and get speeds up to 22 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload for $85 per month.
They could also opt for Comcast's Business Class Deluxe Internet service, which features DOCSIS 3.0 speeds of up to 100 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload for $160 per month, which is 15 percent off Comcast's regular pricing.
As part of the program, businesses can also receive Business Class Voice full-featured phone lines for $29.95 per month (minimum two lines required).
Comcast said participating chambers and trade associations would have access to seminars, white papers and other business-building resources for their members.
