Charter tees up Big Ten Network's BTN2Go

Charter Communications has teed up the launch of the Big Ten Network's TV Everywhere offering, which is called BTN2Go.

BTN2Go is a live 24/7 multi-platform extension of BTN, the latter of which Charter first launched in Big Ten Conference states in the summer of 2008. In addition to Charteroffering BTN2Go, Charter is also debuting BTN in homes and businesses in many Charter markets outside of Big Ten Conference markets, where BTN previously wasn't available.

Charter customers who subscribe to BTN programming will have access to BTN2Go, which will include live games, on-demand original programming and archived content from the Big Ten Conference library.

"Alumni and college sports fans across the country will now be able to follow their favorite teams and get to know them, up close and personally, as well as remember the Big Ten greats of years past," said Charter's Rich DiGeronimo, senior vice president of product and strategy. "The way people stay connected, informed and entertained continues to evolve, and through BTN2Go from Charter, passionate Big Ten fans can follow their teams, from anywhere at any time – at no additional cost."

BTN will be available to homes and businesses on Charter's SportsView tier in markets where the service has been launched. In tandem with the start of the Big Ten football season, BTN2Go will be available through or at
