Itaas today announced the appointment of Pat Tylka to the company's advisory board.

Tylka has more than 30 years of experience, largely in executive management at Scientific-Atlanta and Cisco. Itaas said he was invited to share his sales management experience and knowledge of the global telecommunications industry.

Tylka brings experience to the itaas advisory board in developing go-to-market strategies for specific accounts, products and countries. As senior vice president of worldwide sales and senior corporate vice president, he was involved in the sale of Scientific-Atlanta to Cisco and managed the integration of the sales organizations. He remained at Cisco for three years as vice president of new business development, focusing on the top 30 service providers worldwide. Tylka was inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers in 2010.

"Having Pat as a member of our advisory board speaks to our commitment to growing our business worldwide while serving our customers," said Vibha Rustagi, president and CEO of itaas. "He has the right mix of visionary thinking with day-to-day sales and customer focus. His experience, as well as his knowledge of key service providers, will provide us with guidance into a broader, global marketplace. We are very fortunate to have him as a valued resource to itaas."

"Over the past eleven years, itaas has maintained strong growth and shows insightful leadership in forming an outside advisory board," said Tylka. "Multi-screen, multi-platform and interactive applications are changing the landscape for today's global telecommunications service providers, and itaas has the expertise to play an important role in this change. My goal is to assist the company leaders to continue to grow their business worldwide."
