Cablevision offers no-risk trial of data, phone services for SMBs

Cablevision is offering small- and medium-size businesses the opportunity to take its voice and data services for a trial run that includes a money-back refund over the course of the first 30 days if they're not completely satisfied with both services.

Cablevision's Optimum Business is promoting the Optimum Business No-Risk Promise in its New York metropolitan footprint via TV and radio ad campaigns. 

"The advertising campaign is aimed at small and medium businesses that may still feel captive by the phone company for their communications services," said Stephanie Anderson, vice president of marketing for commercial services at Cablevision. "We hope the offer and campaign will motivate these businesses to discover Optimum Business and get the service they deserve. With the No-Risk Promise, their satisfaction is now 100 percent guaranteed."

Designed for small- and medium- or home-based-size businesses that require high-speed Internet and voice communications, the Optimum Business offering includes Optimum Online and Optimum Voice for $29.95 per month each the first year when combined for new customers.

Cablevision serves the SMB market largely through its HFC network, while the company's Optimum Lightpath division provisions large businesses, including financial institutions and medical facilities.
