AT&T is seeking to take a bite out of cable operators' revenues by offering a video service to small businesses.

AT&T announced today that it's offering its U-verse service and AT&T DirecTV service to small businesses as part of a quad-play bundle.

The video service for small businesses is available in the 131 markets across the nation that U-verse serves, while the DirecTV offering is available in the areas where U-verse isn't available.

AT&T said U-verse TV business packages are available for half of normal rates through April and start at $20 a month for the basic 20-channel lineup, $32.50 for the standard 100-channel lineup and $40 for a deluxe 200-channel lineup, in addition to optional high-definition services. The standard and deluxe tier prices are fixed for 12 months from the start of the term in a 24-month term agreement.

The AT&T DirecTV service for small businesses with "Business Viewing" and "Private Office" packages range from $34.99 to $59.99. "Public Viewing" packages cost between $54.99 and $325.99, with options to add HD, ethnic, sports and other packages, such as NFL Sunday Ticket and Nascar.
