As announced last summer, Suddenlink has begun to distribute TiVo Premiere DVRs. The first two markets to get them are Lubbock and Midland, Tex.

Suddenlink customers will be able to access content from Suddenlink's video-on-demand library and the Web, all accessible through TiVo's search and discovery features.

Suddenlink Chairman and CEO Jerry Kent reiterated that the company's plan was to introduce the service in a few markets in 2010 and then expand availability in other markets in 2011.

In addition to multi-room PVR functionality and access to on-demand and online content, the new service will allow customers to access Facebook and Twitter on their TVs.
