NCTA hires search firm to help find new CEO
The National Cable & Telecommunications Associated announced that its board of directors has hired Korn Ferry International to help find a new CEO.
Last month, current NCTA CEO and President Kyle McSlarrow announced he was leaving the organization sometime this spring. McSlarrow, who has been with the NCTA since 2005, said he would seek another job within the cable industry.
Conducting the search process for Korn Ferry will be Nels Olson, managing director of the Eastern Region for Korn Ferry in the United States and senior client partner for Board & CEO Services.
Any inquiries about the NCTA position can be directed to Olson at firstname.lastname@example.org or (202) 822-9444. Olson and Korn Ferry also managed the search in 2005 that resulted in the NCTA hiring of McSlarrow.
In conducting the search, Olson will report to Pat Esser, chairman of the board of the NCTA and president of Cox Communications.
