In the media: TWC's Zachariah abruptly resigns as regional VP
Time Warner Cable northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania division regional vice president Vin Zachariah unexpectedly resigned from his position on Friday.
According to a story in the Akron Beacon Journal, Zachariah left for personal reasons Friday morning. Zachariah was named regional vice president of the division in September of last year after Steve Fry retired.
"I realize that this development follows a period of transition in the division and that the prospect of another change can be unsettling," said regional president of residential operations Ronda Frass in a company memo, according to the newspaper story.
Doug Whiting, regional vice president of customer operations, is currently in charge of day-to-day operations while a replacement is found for Zachariah.
Time Warner Cable's northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania division is the cable operator's third-largest division behind New York and Los Angeles.
Prior to his promotion last year, Zachariah was regional vice president of operations in Time Warner Cable's southwest Ohio division. Before coming to Ohio, he was vice president of operations for the company's Jackson, Miss., division.
