Time Warner Cable Business Class, the business division of Time Warner Cable, is now offering hotels in the New York City area its HD Video for Hospitality service.
HD Video for Hospitality is a dedicated video service that gives hotels the ability to offer in-room HD cable TV programming without having to purchase, install and maintain headend equipment within the hotel.
The service, which is geared toward larger hotels with more than 100 rooms, features a dedicated feed of 60 HD channels that are delivered over Time Warner Cable Business Class' network.
Using encryption standards that are compatible with the industry's largest movie on-demand system providers, such as LodgeNet, HD Video for Hospitality connects directly with in-room HDTVs without needing set-top boxes.
The service lets hotels customize their TV offerings, choosing from optional premium HD channels such as HBO and Showtime, an international HD channel package, MusicChoice, on-demand and New York stations – such as NY1, MSG, MSGPlus, SportsNetNY, WWOR-TV and the Yes Network. With HD Video for Hospitality, hotels can also insert their own local guest channels.

Time Warner Cable Business Class previously launched the hospitality service in upstate New York and New England, as well as in North Carolina and South Carolina.
