Verecloud has promoted Brad Hoffman to vice president of business development and Russell Wurth to vice president of product management, effective immediately.

Hoffman joined Verecloud in August as Verecloud's director of business development. He has previously worked for wireless and telecommunication providers, including Verizon Wireless and Comment Cellular.

Wurth has been with Verecloud since 2007, and before his promotion he was director of solutions architecture. Before Verecloud, Wurth held solution architecture and software development positions at companies including Level 3 Communications, Qwest, Charter Communications and Intel.

In March, Verecloud hit the OSS/BSS market with a new platform that aims to help communications service providers (CSPs) quickly prepare their back offices so that they can offer a new set of cloud-based services to their small- and medium-size business (SMB) customers.
