Sezmi Select now in 36 U.S. markets
Sezmi is now in 36 metropolitan markets nationwide with its pay-TV service that bundles broadcast channels, on-demand content and some cable channels and runs on DVRs that subscribers must buy at retail outlets.
The Sezmi Select tier combines digital broadcast content with a collection of movies from Hollywood studios, on-demand TV from broadcast and cable providers, and video from YouTube and other online content providers.
In June, the company launched Sezmi Select in Boston; Detroit; Houston; Kansas City, Mo.; Phoenix; Portland, Ore.; Miami-Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando, Fla.; and San Francisco.
This week, Sezmi Select launched in Albuquerque-Santa Fe, N.M.; Atlanta; Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro-High Point-Winston Salem, N.C.; Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Dallas; San Antonio; Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek, Mich.; Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C., and Asheville, N.C.; Hartford-New Haven, Conn.; Jacksonville and West Palm Beach-Ft. Select Plus remains available only in the Los Angeles market. Sezmi said it plans to make that bundle of cable channels available in some of its other markets later this year.
