BigBand Networks has signed a reseller agreement with European broadband cable and telecommunications equipment supplier Technetix Group.

Technetix will be able to resell BigBand’s vIP Pass video IP delivery platform and CVEx (Converged Video Exchange) intelligent software control plane.

CVEx facilitates convergence between different video applications and end-user screens. BigBand’s vIP Pass is designed to allow service providers to achieve IPTV goals with a faster time to market and lower operating and capital expense than with other transport alternatives.
