BigBand Networks has expanded the base of its IP video platform, thanks to new partnerships with Entone, Orca Interactive, Verimatrix and Western Mediabridge.

BigBand said the new partnerships will help it deliver an end-to-end IP-based platform. The combined offering includes an IP media hub from Entone, network-based program guides from Orca, digital video security systems from Verimatrix and IPTV solutions from Western Mediabridge, all of which will help streamline and secure IP video delivery across networks and consumer devices, according to BigBand.

Previously, BigBand announced its IP video delivery product suite had been integrated with several DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems and gateway technologies, including Hitron Technologies, Mplus Technology Co. and Netgear, along with DOCSIS 3.0 chipset integrations with Texas Instruments and other major chipset manufacturers.

BigBand’s IP video delivery platform includes the company’s vIP Pass and CVEx products.
