AT&T U-verse subscribers will be able to track their favorite basketball teams during the NCAA tournament by viewing personalized information and bracket updates on their TV screens.

AT&T’s U-verse TV app debuts Monday, and it’s free. Results, bracket updates and other personalized information will come to viewers’ TV screens via a Yahoo Sports application.

Using AT&T’s IP-based service, U-verse TV customers can select their picks online, and their brackets will automatically show up on their TVs.

To set up the brackets, users log into Yahoo Sports and pick their teams. Once the tournament starts, correct picks will be highlighted in green, while incorrect picks will show up as red. Subscribers will access the service by pressing the “go interactive” buttons on their remotes.

"Our goal with U-verse TV apps is to enhance the content our customers care about, and we know college basketball fans are passionate about this month's big tournament," said Jeff Weber, AT&T’s vice president of video products. "We're giving you a single location on your TV to follow your brackets and your favorite teams, without ever leaving the game. This is just one more U-verse TV app that makes the sports-watching experience better for our customers."
