Comcast announced that Scott Hansen has been hired as its vice president of commercial business services for its West Division.

Hansen, who will join Comcast’s West Division team in Denver, will lead the commercial channel and provide support for Comcast’s business customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

From Comcast’s regional headquarters in Denver, Karl Ossentjuk will continue to oversee sales and support for Colorado and New Mexico business customers as vice president of Comcast Business Class services.

In his new job, Hansen is responsible for sales channel development, marketing, operations and construction for the commercial business segment.

Hansen most recently served as vice president of sales for LightEdge Solutions and also spent several years as vice president of the Western Division for Charter Business.
