WICT names 2010 board of directors

Women in Cable Telecommunications last week announced its 2010 board of directors, who will officially take office Jan. 1.

Ellen East, executive vice president and chief communications officer for Time Warner Cable, will complete her two-year term as chair of the 2010 WICT board of directors.

WICT’s 2010 board of directors executive committee includes:

  • Chair – Ellen East, executive vice president and chief communications officer for Time Warner Cable
  • Vice Chair – Kathy Payne, vice president of programming for Cox Communications
  • Treasurer – Mary Meduski, executive vice president and CFO for Suddenlink Communications
  • Chapter Development Chair – Sherita Ceasar, vice president of cross-platform applications and engineering services for Comcast
  • Strategic Planning Committee Chair – Lisa Chang, senior vice president of human resources for Turner Broadcasting System
  • Development Committee Chair – Kim Martin, president and general manager for WE tv and Wedding Central
  • Governance Committee Chair – Landel Hobbs, chief operating officer for Time Warner Cable
  • Maria Brennan – CAE, president and CEO of WICT

WICT’s 2010 BOD directors at large include:

  • Gena Barnhart (chapter leader) – director of marketing and digital distribution for NBC Universal
  • Sean Bratches – executive vice president of sales and marketing for ESPN
  • Elizabeth Davis (emerging leader) – account executive for Disney/ESPN
  • Denise Denson – executive vice president of content distribution and marketing for MTV Networks and BET Networks
  • Nancy Dubuc – president and general manager of The History Channel
  • Dwight Duke – senior vice president of the Service Provider Video Technology Group and site executive for Cisco Systems
  • Melani Griffith – senior vice president of programming and video services for Insight Communications
  • Marva Johnson – vice president of technology policy and industry affairs for Bright House Networks
  • Sara King – adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership
  • Chris Powell – senior vice president and executive vice president of human resources for Scripps Networks
